DEFENSIVE CARBINE I, II, III
Our Defensive Carbine Course is a three class course we cover in one weekend focusing on the use of a carbine in a tactical and defensive posture. Designed to introduce the student to the world of tactical shooting, students are immersed in a structured course of instruction starting with the principles and ending with team coordination exercises and drills under stress. You will start by learning your shooting form. Once that is done we move on to magazine change drills and malfunction drills. Now you will start shooting from a static position. From there we start your moving and shooting drills. By day 2 you will be learning barricade shooting techniques and additional shooting positions such as urban prone. We then start you shooting and moving with partners. Multiple threat drills will then be covered as well as team drills. By the end of day 2 you have acquired your tactical carbine foundation and can move on to the more advanced classes.
